The Norwegian Transparency Act relating to enterprises’ transparency and work on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions entered into force on July 1, 2022. The Act shall increase knowledge and the awareness of businesses regarding decent working conditions and basic human rights in connection with the production of goods and the delivery of services throughout the supply chain. As part of fulfilling the purpose of the Act, the public must be given access to information about what businesses do to ensure the requirements of the act.
